Get To Know Your Guide

I’m a two-spirited woman with deep roots along the American East Coast. I was born and raised in Philly, PA in the Salafi sect of Islam where I had my first encounters with the more than human realms. At this point, two things became clear: the complex relationship religion has with the non corporeal, and the ways religion has impacted “African Americans”. The first decade of my activations led me on a journey of engaging the thickest layers of my karma; centered by the intention to clean-up, assimilate, and integrate them into wisdom. This period re-membered a core intention I have during this lifetime – aiding in the anchoring of new timelines, possibilities, and art upon the Earth.

Thus far, I’ve realized that rejection has been a sacred guide. Reminding me to remain mutable with the seasons. Encouraging me to caretake the pain of displacement. Reminding me of the importance of seeing myself clearly, unclenching the back of my heart, and trusting the flow of life. Imagine, unclogging a pipe that has beautiful waters on the other end– this is what my journey has been like. It took a 10-year cycle to thoroughly engage the different karmic elements clogging my “pipe”; from ancestral, to religious, to societal, to past life karma. From this unclogging, the currents of my purpose became clear. I look forward to the future refinements as I continue to honor where I’m at today.

It’s my intention to skillfully hold the containers of our explorations with care, curiosity, integrity, and deep consideration for all of our lived experiences.
